A vibrant and fun-packed dual venue event to launch Coastal Currents 2009 with a bang!
The evening starts with a drinks reception at Hastings Town Hall opened by the Mayor of Hastings and a special guest; followed by entertainment – Disco Olympics led by eclectic performance duo ‘tit vs tat’. This includes interactive lo-fi events such as: disco ball shot put, martini relay and sequined sack race. (www.tittat.org)
Free buses will transport guests to the Random Fridays event and roof-top party at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea.
The twin venue launch reflects the spirit of the festival’s programme – primarily focused in and around Hastings; but draws in significant numbers of artists and projects from neighbouring areas, in particular Bexhill-on-Sea and Rye.
