Tracing Hastings

This year’s theme is Tracing Hastings- exploring the town’s culture, distinct location and history. A specially-commissioned project Place brings innovative and challenging work by over thirty established and emerging artists. Outdoor spaces, heritage sites, empty shops and non-art venues have all been used to house new artworks by local, national and international artists.

Free weekend tours will take you off the beaten track and guide you around the work.

A number of trails exist to follow the artworks around the town. You can pick up additional free maps, the festival brochure, and children’s activity packs from Hastings Tourist Information Centre and Festival HQ.

Pop in and see us….

Festival HQ is based in Unit 3, House of Hastings, 178-182 Queens Road, Hastings, TN34 1RQ

Shared with other creative enterprises, including Radiator Arts, and with a temporary changing exhibition space, the House of Hastings empty shop initiative is supported by Hastings Borough Council and Meanwhile Space CIC.
